One of the first original parks not sitting in a landfill in Chicago. Must see before they level a lot the old trees for someone’s ego trip.
Serious vegan comfort food. Safe and clean, with an outdoor patio and a loving staff. Everything is awesome!
I stay away from the dog beach...just one too many bad dog owners. The path and beach are peaceful with little to no skaters and Lance Armstrong pretenders.
Ask for the vegan menus, from salads and dumplings to pad Thai and vegan sushi, you’ll be definitely happy with the offerings. Even a really nice vegan chocolate cake for desert.
The staff and people here are happy, a polar opposite of most cafe's in the Loop. No power lunches and a tolerable amount of "business" coffees. Really love the fresh pastries.
Vegan and vegetarian options are plentiful here. Build your own salad or choose from several pre-made options and prices are based on weight of what’s on your plate.
